In My Mailbox #2

In My Mailbox (IMM) is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi of The Story Siren. It gives book bloggers the opportunity to show which books they have received, bought, won, or borrowed. If you want to know more or would like to participate, be sure to visit her blog.

Hearts Made of Stone
by Arthur C. Carey

My thoughts: I decided to start reading it today right after I finished Forever Me. I was supposed to read The Moon Dwellers first but then I realized this one had the earliest deadlines out of all the books I have lined up for review. So far, so good. It's pretty fast paced in the beginning but I haven't really read much to know if the same will continue throughout the book.

(ARC) Prodigal
by Rektok Ross

My thoughts: I'm not entirely sure when this book is set to be released but so far it only says January 2013. I marked it as ARC anyway seeing that it doesn't have ratings, reviews or other labels yet. I liked the synopsis so I'm looking forward to reviewing this book.

(ARC) Both Sides Of Opposite (Maykenna & Trevor Novella #1)
by Scarlet Hope

My thoughts: Scarlet was kind enough to give me a free hand in choosing when to post a review of her book. Awesome. Since this is a short read, if I happen to finish one of the books earlier than planned, I'll squeeze it in my timetable.

Oath of Servitude (The Punishment Sequence)
by C.E. Wilson

My thoughts: When C.E. Wilson asked if I could review her book, I gladly accepted. It's been a while since I last read any book under the paranormal/fantasy genre so I was pretty excited to accept this one. I'm also glad there isn't a deadline for this one. Whew! But of course I would do my best to review this as soon as possible.

(Advance Reading Copy)
I'll also review these ones of course, I don't want to waste the opportunity given to me.

Another 365 Days
by K.E. Payne

My thoughts: This is a sequel to KE Payne's 365 days. It has an LGBT theme which makes it all the more interesting for me to read... don't get any ideas. This just happens to be different from genres I read that's why it's interesting.

A Shimmer of Angels (Angel Sight #1)
by Lisa M. Basso

My thoughts: 1) I love the cover. Absolutely love it. 2) I've never read angel books before. 3) I'm stoked. Nuff said.

Tempted by Evil (Light and Shadow Trilogy #1)
by Amber Lynn Natusch, Shannon Morton

My thoughts: Eek! The first book I won! Ever! (Okay enough exclamation points)

I'm so excited to read every one of 'em. Especially the ARCs. I really want to post a review before their release date because I'm responsible like that. LOL.

What did you get this week? ;-)
