Teaser Tuesday #4

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading
and slightly altered by Coffee, Books & Lipgloss

Basically a CBL TEASER TUESDAY works like this
  • Grab your current read
  • Share 2 “teaser” sentences from a random page or a part you rather enjoyed and post it as a teaser.
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! Make sure that what you share doesn't give too much away; you don’t want to ruin the book for others!
  • As an option, you can give a short snippet of what you think so far... or not. That's optional.
  • Share the TITLE and AUTHOR too, so that other participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teaser.

Title: daynight
Authors: Megan Thomason
Release Date: November 26th 2012 by Createspace (first published November 13th 2012)
Add it to your TR List:

In an effort to change the subject, I grabbed his hand and turned it over. "And what do your lines say?"

"That my mom taught me how to get a pretty girl to hold my hand?"

Disappointment looms. Either she'll be dreadful and forced my way or spectacular and forced the other guy's way. There's yet to be a situation that clearly weighs in my favor.

The moment I see her my faulty heart swells with misplaced hope. Why couldn't the other Dark have been born with a defective heart?

My Opinion So Far

daynight (it's really spelled with a small 'd') is a YA dystopia book. It has three alternating POV's: Kira's, Ethan's, and Blake's. I'm just a bit confused about the setting but I guess that's how most dystopia novels work - the world they live in is painted little by little. I'm a fan of dystopia novels so I hope this'll measure up to my expectations. It's too early to tell but so far I'm enjoying it though. :-)
