When I'm not reading, going over my Facebook newsfeed (I know. I'm one of those people who just looove Facebook), or chatting with Dianne/Charlie/Melo, I'm... on Youtube. Most of the videos I watch only last for 5 minutes or less but I spend an insane amount of time on the website. I guess shorter videos simply make you browse more. Today I'm sharing my list of channels I frequently visit in the hopes of passing on the fantarding to you.
If you want to binge on some good ol' talk show comedy, I recommend...
The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon
I must say, The Tonight Show improved a lot when Jimmy took over. More than the guest interviews, I also enjoy the variety of skits that Jimmy does. He reads #hashtag contributions on Twitter, writes hilarious thank you notes, and even plays games with his guests! I think it also helps that Jimmy has great dynamics with Steve Higgins and The Roots. It makes the show so much more fun. I can't get enough. And that's why I keep watching them.
The Ellen Show
Another talk show channel that's hard for me to resist. Back when I was still a student, I would go online and try to do my homework. But then I'd see a new video up on Ellen's channel and, well, good bye productivity! I love how Ellen can manage to make any interview entertaining.
A variety of Youtubers...
vlogbrothers
Everyone knows John Green. But haaaaaave you met Hank?
FineBros
I love the FineBros' react videos! They ask kids, teenagers, adults, celebrities, and other Youtubers to react to videos subscribers suggest. I like their reactions but I also enjoy the discussions after. Fun stuff.
Now if you're looking for some booktubers...
Katytastic
Now I know there are a lot of booktubers out there, but Kat's the first one I found in the big, big world of Youtube. Most of the books I buy nowadays are titles I found in Kat's videos, whether it be from book hauls, reviews, or tag videos. I take her suggestions seriously. *narrows eyes* (And does she remind you of someone? Say... ALYSON HANNIGAN?)
Little Book Owl
Catriona is one of Kat's booktuber friends. I love watching booktuber videos but what made the Little Book Owl one of my favorites is Catriona's energy and, admittedly, her accent. It's always fun watching her rave about books she read and bought. She does discussion videos too and I think those are also worth checking out.
So... do you have Youtube channels that you frequently visit? Share them in the comments below. I'd love to check them out!
PolandbananasBOOKS! She is HILARIOUS ;) I love Katytastic, too! Her bookshelf is amazing.
