The old Sab would get pressured by imaginary blogging rules. She'd finish a book even if she doesn't like it and she'd struggle to write a long review of a book she didn't like. But I'm the new Sab now and I don't waste my precious reading/blogging time anymore.
I couldn't make it to 20%. It's too boring. Any attempts at humor fell flat. The overly detailed descriptions of surroundings, people, outfits really slowed down any progress the book was making. And the protagonist? Severely lacking in personality. Bland. Next!
I'm sorry it was a bad read for you, Sab. I dislike books when the it's trying hard to be funny.
