This is my cup of tea. After my momentary obsession with contemporary YA books I'll get join the nerd herd once more.
Useless fact about me: I absolutely love the Harry Potter series. I'd go as far as saying I'm a major Potterhead. I take pride in being a Hufflepuff at Pottermore. However I haven't read the first three books. I know. I'm a disgrace to Potterheads all over the world. I'll read them of course, I'm not sure when though. But I will make time for it.
For now I'm reading An Abundance of Katherines by John Green. I'm not quite feeling it... yet. I'm 38% into the book and I'm not attached yet. I was gripped when I read the synopsis, but somehow it's not as interesting as I thought it would be. Maybe it's the John Green of it all that's keeping me from enjoying the book early on. Or it's because the protagonist is a genius so some of the lines are a bit too much. You'll know what I'm talking about if you've read this or his other books. I do hope the story picks up soon. I enjoyed The Fault in Our Stars so I'm expecting I'll enjoy this too.
Dinner time! I'll write a review of The Duff: Designated Ugly Fat Friend later. Hopefully I can finish and post it tonight.
