It's going to be an extra stressful week at work (month... make it a MONTH) and Stephanie Perkins coming to the Philippines is basically the only thing that can perk me up for the week ahead. Anna and the French Kiss is one of the first books I reviewed on my blog. In fact- it's the book that got me blogging. My friend recommended it to me when I was in a major reading slump. She bugged me to read it, so I did (because at that time I had a lot of free time in between classes). I ended up loving it so much I figured I want to do the same for other people. I want to recommend books that will give readers a major hangover after. Just like what Janeen did for me. (Hi, Janeena!) :)
That's why I'm so stoked for the event on Sunday! This is one event I have to go to. HAVE TO. I want to personally tell Stephanie Perkins just how big of an influence her writing is to me and my blogging.
...and I also want to stare at her hair. O_O (Staring would suffice)
